The County Council is unable to provide passing places
because there have been no specific safety issues. The provision of passing
places would also require the legal transfer of adjacent private land and
removal of established hedgerows. Although there is a sign that the road is
unsuitable for HGVs, prohibition would not be possible because farm vehicles
need access to the fields. Snape Lane will be inspected and any ruts or verge
damage will be repaired.
P.C. Marsh sent an email report in which he said that
thirty five incidents had been logged. Three crimes were reported, two non
